Norton Cherries has been recognised for its Nackington Farm orchard as they are named Orchard of the Year 2026 by the East Kent Fruit Society.

The farm was awarded both Best Cherry Orchard and Best Overall Orchard for Stone Fruit, reflecting the exceptional presentation and high standards of orchard management demonstrated across the site.

The awards celebrate the very best of East Kent’s fruit-growing sector, with judges recognising the care and attention given to maintaining the orchard throughout the season.

This success comes as the British cherry season gets underway, with harvesting now in progress at Nackington Farm. The team is anticipating a strong season ahead and looks forward to showcasing the quality of this year’s fruit.

At the heart of the achievement is Farm Manager Milush Petrov and his team, whose expertise and attention to detail ensure the orchard performs at the highest level year after year. Their commitment to quality and stewardship underpins Norton’s ability to supply consistently high-quality fruit to retail partners.

This latest recognition reinforces Norton Cherries’ reputation for excellence in cherry production and highlights the strength of its growing operations within the UK’s leading fruit region.
