Mansfields is celebrating an outstanding result at this year's National Fruit Show, securing 12 awards across multiple apple classes and categories, recognising the quality, consistency and expertise behind its fruit production.
Among the many awards, the standout varieties receiving recognition were Class 11B Braeburn, Class 7 Jazz, special recognition in Class 2 Bramley and Class 12B Pink Lady which received the highest score of the day across all categories.

Further accolades included the prestigious John Twaits Bowl, awarded to the exhibitor gaining the highest points total across all exhibit categories, and the Dan Wuille Cup for culinary apples showing the best colour and skin for the variety.
The awards, presented at the Kent Showground in Detling, recognise the quality of Mansfields’ fruit and the expertise, care and commitment of its growing team and packing teams. Despite the challenges presented by this year's growing season, the results reflect the dedication, resilience and technical expertise of the Mansfields team, and underline the business's commitment to consistently delivering fruit of the highest standard.

With roots stretching back to 1968, Mansfields combines fruit production with year-round packing and storage services. Since joining the greosn group in October 2025, the business has continued to invest in its operations to support quality, efficiency and long-term growth.
“We’re delighted to receive this recognition across so many categories at this year's National Fruit Show,” said James Miller, Managing Director at Mansfields. “Securing 12 awards is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the skill, dedication and hard work of our teams throughout the season. Despite some of the most challenging growing conditions experienced this year, the quality of fruit produced is very good, and we're incredibly proud to see that recognised by the industry.”

Mansfields were proud to be sponsors of the judges’ lunch at this year’s National Fruit Show. The National Fruit Show brings growers, suppliers and industry professionals together to celebrate British fruit and showcase developments across the sector. At its heart is the renowned commercial fruit display, with every competition entry contributing to a showcase of crops grown across the UK.
